FIRE LILY Lilium bulbiferum ssp. croceum
This perennial lily has stunning fiery, yellow-orange blossoms, and can grow up to 60 cm tall (24"). It would be a great addition to a rock garden and is great for cuttings. It does best in part shade conditions with dry to average soil.
Hardiness zones: 3-9
Note: Ornamental use only. Many plants have poisonous parts, these included. Minor toxicity.
Seeds per pack: 5
Germination: For these perennial seeds, like many others, a cold stratification period is required. For best results, sow seeds and keep them moist at room temperature or above for 3 weeks, move them to a cold area like a fridge for an additional 3-4 weeks and finally bring them out to standard room temperature.
