Streptocarpus are popular houseplants, easy to grow, and produce masses of blooms over the large thick foliage. They are grown similar to African Violets. They can be placed in morning sun or winter sun, but otherwise should be grown out of direct sunlight.

Fresh leaf cuttings can be used to create a new plant, just as is often done with African Violet leaves. We root our cuttings in pearlite with rooting hormone. It can also be done with soil or in water. We do not provide specific instructions for how to root them.
