Mangave 'Maverick'
A true maverick, this unique and showy plant bucks what you'd think of for a succulent! Long, sword-like leaves form an upright rosette. Intense burgundy spots almost completely cover the blue-green leaves. The color is best when exposed to direct UV light.
Mangave is a relatively new phenomenon, an intergeneric cross of Manfreda x Agave. These rare hybrids combine the best of both worlds: the better growth rate and the interesting patterns of Manfreda, and the habit and refinement of Agave.
