Passiflora aurantia, the orange-petaled passion flower is a rare ornamental producing orange-apricot flowers. Fruit are inedible. It is native to New Caledonia and Australia.

Germination: Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. For best results, obtain a sterile seed-start mix, and place the seeds just under the surface of the pre-moistened growing medium. Keep moist until germination, which can take about 3 weeks. You can cover the container with clear plastic if you wish, to retain moisture until germination. Once seeds emerge, place in a sunny place outdoors if temperatures permit.
