RODGERSIA Aesculifolia var. henrici
Rodgersia is a robust, herbaceous perennial growing to 90 cm (36 in) tall by 75 cm (30 in) broad, with leaves up to 90 cm (35 in) long, with 5-9 leaflets. The star-shaped flowers, are borne on bright red stems in summer. The flowers are pink to an almost red. Grows well in moist to average soils, R. Aesculifolia is useful as an ornamental ground-cover plant for the margins of streams or ponds. Great for cut flowers.
