The American elm is native to parts of Canada and as far South as parts of Florida. These trees do prefer full sun and will stretch if grown in lower light conditions. Does well in loamy soils, close to a ready water source. Some specimens have been known to grow to a height of over 100'! The Princeton cultivar is reportedly highly resistant to the Dutch Elm Disease.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service.
