Shipping

Canada Post Strike Has Ended!

For our Canadian customers:

For orders placed during the strike, your seeds went in the mail on Thursday Dec 19th, which is the first day that Canada Post was accepting new mail. Some delays are expected as they catch up with the backlog, though rest assured your orders are on their way!

For new orders, we offer the option of Canada Post or UPS courier shipping.

For our USA customers: There are no delays to our standard shipping times. 

International customers (outside of North America): UPS and Canada Post options are available.

Seeds Shipping Information

We ship from Ontario, Canada. Your order is being handled and packed with care. We process orders within 1-2 business days. See shipping times and rates below.

CANADA

Standard Shipping (Canada Post)

Shipping within Canada is 6.99 for standard shipping. The only exception is some very large seeds (some palm, some nuts, and others) which have to ship at parcel rates.

Postal times are:

• 1-8 business days within ON & QC 

• 2-12 business. days to MB, NB, NL, NY, NS, PE, SK 

• 3-15 business days to BC, AB, NU, YK & NT

A tracking link is not provided unless you have selected Expedited Shipping (explained below). Expedited shipping is an option available at checkout, though it has an extra cost.

Expedited Shipping (Canada Post)

Expedited shipping is an option at checkout. The rates and shipping times are displayed at checkout, and are based on your location within Canada. A tracking link will be provided by email if you choose this option.

Courier Shipping (UPS)

UPS shipping is an option at checkout. The rates are displayed at checkout, and are based on your location within Canada. A tracking link will be provided by email if you choose this option.

Pick-Up

We have partnered with a local business in Campbellford (Ontario) to be able to offer order pick-up. Orders are generally ready for pick-up in 1-3 business days.

If you would like this option you can simply check out online using standard shipping (the 6.99 will be refunded). Be sure to leave a message on your order that you would like PICK-UP. We will see your message and refund your shipping, and will let you know where and when your order is ready.

UNITED STATES

We ship seeds to the USA frequently!

Shipping to the USA is 9.99. The only exception is some very large seeds (some palm, some nuts, and others), which have to ship at parcel rates.

Standard Shipping

Orders via standard shipping arrive in 4-19 business days depending on your location, and is based on Canada Post's 5 days a week system. If you need your seeds more quickly then we suggest advanced tracked shipping. We do not provide tracking with the standard shipping option.

Advanced Tracked Shipping

Advanced tracked shipping is available as an option at checkout. Orders generally arrive in 3-12 business days. This is generally the fastest shipping method, as we fast-track the process of seeds inspections and direct shipping. This option is available at checkout, and the rate is displayed there. A tracking link will be provided once the order is shipped, and tracking is active once your order crosses the border and is in USPS hands.

Border Process

The USA border processes can take some time. We fully take care of the process, and your order will arrive safely. We appreciate your patience as we perform the required seeds inspections and paperwork. Once over the border your seeds will arrive via USPS.

Your order is free of any additional costs, duties or taxes. It will arrive safely. 

INTERNATIONAL (Outside of North America)

International shipping is available for many countries. If you do not see your country as an option at checkout, please contact us to inquire.

To ensure safe arrival, phytosanitary certificates are required for most countries. They are included in the cost of shipping, and are non-refundable.

Gift Cards

There is no shipping charge on e-gift cards.

 

Plants Shipping Information

Plants are occasionally available for shipping within Canada. Plant shipping rates are calculated at checkout, and are based on the shipping destination. We ship plants on Mondays and/or Tuesdays each week.
