Sorry we do not yet have a good image of this favorite ruby-red drumstick. Flowers are deep red with a purple hue, the closet to red that Drumstick Primula can be! Drumstick Primula flowers are unique, in that they form balls of flowers on tall stems! Primulas are one of the first perennial to bloom in the spring, and blooms are tolerant of the cold frosts. Grow plants in part . They are ideal for planting under deciduous trees that allow sun to pass through in the spring before the leaves emerge, and later provide during the hot summer. Limited supply, once sold out, no more available.

Germination: Start indoors. These seeds require light to germinate. Sow the seeds on surface and water in. Do not bury the seeds. Leave them at room temperature (20-22 °C, 68-72 °F) for 4 weeks. If they have not germinated after 4 weeks then a cooling period is required. Cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 4 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold-moist stratification period they are then brought back to a cool room (15C, 59F) for them to germinate. Germination can be 30-90 days after the warming period, though some will take longer.
