Euphorbia epithymoides is a clumping Spurge variety. Prefers dry, sandy or otherwise well-drained soils. Typically flowers from May to September once established with bright yellow flowers. The sap of the plant is toxic and can cause irritation and dermatitis.

Surface sow as light aids germination. Water the seeds in. Temperature 20-22°C (68-72°F) for 4 weeks. They may be growing at this point. If they have not germinated after 4 weeks then a cooling period is required. Cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 4 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold stratification period they are then brought back to a cool room (15-18°C, 59-64°F) for them to germinate. Germination can be 30-60 days after the warming period, though some will take longer.
Ornamental use only. These seeds and or plants are poisonous. The milky white sap is toxic and can cause skin irritation, eye damage, and blistering.
