Large frilly, dark purple leaves grow on 90cm-1 m (2-3 ?ý) tall plants. An open-pollinated variety that is very slow to bolt. Scarlet Kale has great flavour either as baby leaf or mature kale, and the flavour improves even more after frost. Makes a handsome ornamental also.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday.
