Rare and delicious, and barely ever available in the Western World! The luscious flesh is sweet, tasty and delicious. they are closely related to lychees, and are native to China, Taiwan and South East Asia. The skin is smooth, rather than prickly like the common lychee, and peels off more easily than that of the lychee, rather like an egg shell! Also the tree is hardier than lychee, and bears more heavily!

Hardiness zones: 9-11

Location: Sun or part sun

Seeds per pack: 3

Germination: Place the container at room temperature for them to germinate. Be sure to keep the soil moist during this entire germination period. Seeds sometimes germinate within 4 to 6 weeks although some may take very much longer so please be patient. Plant out in the open ground in warmer countries or in a large container elsewhere.
