A unique and elegant perennial with large, arrow-shaped velvety leaves with dark stems! Forms a ground cover in moist soils, or even shallow water. It makes an excellent container specimen, or focal point in the garden!

Location: Sun or part shade
Type: Perennial, frost tender
Hardiness zones: 8-10, elsewhere dig and store tubers for the winter
Seeds per packet: 5
Before planting, soak the seeds for 3 days. Change the water as needed. Sow just under the surface of the soil and water in. Keep lightly moist. Temperature 26C (79F). A heat mat is beneficial. Seeds germinate at irregular times spanning 30-90 days.
Ornamental use only. These seeds and or plants are poisonous.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service. It’s too early to comment on germination rates — I’ve just started the stratification process today.
