Bay, also known as Bay Laurel, Bay Leaf, Grecian Laurel, Laurel, Sweet Bay, or True Laurel, is an aromatic evergreen tree or large shrub is native to the Mediterranean region, where it was used as a symbol of highest status. Today it is more commonly known as an herb used in a wide variety of Mediterranean recipes. It is also widely grown as an ornamental plant, used in topiaries or for low hedges.
Bay seeds are extremely rare to obtain, and are in very limited supply.

Seeds per packet: 3 Large seeds
Germination: Start indoors. Before planting, soak the seeds for 12-24 hours. Change the water as needed. Sow the seeds just under the surface and water in. Keep lightly moist. Keep at 21 C (70F). Do not use a heat mat. Seeds germinate in 2-6 months.
