This Viola is native to Europe, Western Asia and Northern Africa. Grows well in average soils, blooming from April right through to October once established. It's a great honey bee plant.

Seeds per packet: 50
Surface sow as light aids germination. Water the seeds in. Then cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 6-8 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold stratification period they are then brought back to a bright room, but out of direct sunlight. Temperature 20-22°C (68-72°F). Germination is generally 14-45 days after the warming period, though some can take longer.
