Native to North America. Golden Ragwort forms plant colonies. It prefers full sun to light shade, and medium to wet soil moisture, and can tolerate seasonal flooding. Typical habitats include deciduous woodlands, moist shady savannas, and shorelines. Compared to many other Ragwort species, Golden Ragwort is more shade tolerant. These plants make a nice ground cover for the shade, and the bright yellow flowers stand out! 

Both the nectar and pollen attract small bees and butterflies.

Type: Hardy perennial

Height: 24", 60cm

Location: Shade, or sun if moist soil.

Hardiness zones: 3-7

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday.
