Description

Currently out of stock, awaiting for fresh seeds to be available. Please join our wait list for notification of their availability.

These large flowers are black-red, and are sure to draw attention! Plants are shrub-form, with fully-double flowers. These plants are hardy in zones 3-9, though we do recommend providing winter mulch (to cover the base of the plant) in zones 3 and 4.

Seeds per pack: 5

Germination: These seeds require a period of moist cold before growing. Place the seeds on a paper towel that has been moistened with 60% water and 40% peroxide to prevent the growth of mold. Then place the seeds and towel into a zipper bag, and place in the fridge for 6 weeks. The towel should remain moist the entire time, and it should never freeze. After 6 weeks, remove the seeds, and plant them just under the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and keep moist until germination which takes another 6-8 weeks at room temperature.
