Description

A fall must-have, these mums are hardy to zone 4, and provide a rainbow of fall color from late summer into fall and early winter. Flowers can even withstand light amounts of snow! These seeds are for a mix including a wide range of colours including crimsons, yellows, purples, reds, whites and more!

Type: Perennial

Height: 18-24"

Location: Sun

Hardiness zones: 4-9

Seeds per pack: 20

Note: This plant species is known to have toxicity.

Germination: This plant is easy to germinate. Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. For best results, obtain a sterile seed-start mix, and place the seeds on the top of the pre-moistened growing medium (not buried). Lightly press the seeds so that they are flush with the surface of the soil. Keep moist until germination, which can take about 3 weeks. You can cover the container with clear plastic if you wish, to retain moisture until germination. Watering can be done from the top with a spray bottle, or from the bottom tray, as to not disturb the seeds. Once seeds emerge, place the pot in a sunny place, or under bright grow lights.
