This soft-pink flowered perennial is perfect for native plantings or cottage gardens. Forms tall spikes, with fascinating snapdragon-like blossoms. A North American native originating in the USA, and grows well in most of North America. It is a good plant for adding late-season flowers to a garden, and flowers last for many weeks. Plants grow well in the sun or shade and is one of the limited perennials that bloom well despite full shade.

Seeds per packet: 25
Sow just under the surface of the soil and water in. Then cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 6-8 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold stratification period they are then brought back to room temperature 20-22C (68-72F) for them to germinate. Germinates in 30-60 days after the warming period.
