These plants are generally grown for their silver papery seed cases, though the violet flowers are also very stunning in the garden, and are versatile and easy to grow! The seed cases make a wonderful everlasting cut flower in arrangements indoors, or can be left outdoors to enjoy!

In fall, once the seed casings dry, simply give them a light rub between 2 fingers to reveal the silver inner beauty!

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday.
