A vigorous climbing vine that perfect for covering fences or an an evergreen shrub. Dazzling red, tubular flowers are produced freely from June to October. Flowers first year from seed, and also makes a hardy overwintering tuber! These seeds are for the red coloured flowers, that have a small amount of yellow on the tips!
Type: Hardy perennial, or annual in colder zones
Hardiness zones: 8-10 outdoors, or treat as annual and/or overwinter the tuber
Location: Sun
Seeds per packet: 10
Surface sow as light aids germination. Water the seeds in. Keep continuously moist. Temperature 20-22 C, 68-72 F. Seeds germinate in 20-60 days, though some could take up to 90 days.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service. It’s too early to comment on germination rates — I’ve just started the stratification process today.
