Antennaria dioica is known by common names mountain everlasting, stoloniferous pussytoes, catsfoot and cudweed. It is a flowering perennial herb found in cool northern regions including North America, Europe and northern Asia. The flowers are a unique red-pink. The foliage is evergreen with a rosette of basal spoon-shaped leaves, and smaller leaves arranged spirally up the flowering stems. The plant's common name is derived from the flower clusters which are thought to resemble the pads or toes of a cat's paw. Ideal for rock gardens and sunny areas. Tolerant of dry and poor soils.
