A mounding and cushion-forming perennial with elongated bright-purple flowers in summer. An undemanding plant. Attractive to butterflies, bees and other pollinators. It's spreading habit makes a nice erosion control for slopes, or in the rock garden.

Seeds per packet: 5
Sow just under the surface of the soil and water in. First keep them at room temperature for 30 days. This helps break the phytohormones which inhibit germination. Then cover them with plastic to retain moisture, and then place in a fridge for 120 days. Be sure they stay lightly moist. Then bring them to approximately 21°C, 70°F for germination, which can take another 2-6 months.
Ornamental use only. These seeds and/or plants are poisonous.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday.
