Parry's Beardtongue is a perennial wildflower native to the Sonoran Desert in southern Arizona and northern Mexico. The plants produce erect stems and pale green, arrow-shaped or lance-shaped opposite leaves. The striking flowers are long, tubular, and bright pink to magenta flowers blooming March to May, and attracts pollinators like bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Thrives in full sun to partial shade. The plant requires dry, well-draining soil. Flowering is often achieved in the first year if seed is planted in the autumn.
