PINEAPPLE COLEUS

Large glowing green, yellow and white leaves have a red border, and red stems and leaf-veining. Plants are easily seen at night, and are excellent planted along a front walkway or garden. Coleus work well in planters, hanging baskets, and in a partly shaded garden. This plant will take quite a bit of sun, however, the leaves are larger in part and the colors are most vibrant! Pineapple coleus plants are dense and compact. These seeds have excellent germination rates, and produce consistently vivid-colored, and strong plants!

Germination: Start these seeds early indoors. Place on the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, place at room temperature (70-75F). Keep in a bright location, as they require light to germinate. It is very important to keep the seeds moist until germination, and that they do not dry out. Watering can be done with a spray bottle, or water can wick-up from the bottom tray (best method) when needed. Seeds germinate in approximately 3-4 weeks, and plants grow quite quickly after that.
