WHITE ASTILBE Chinensis
We cannot say enough good things about this astilbe! It has been in our gardens since we can remember, multiplying reliably, tolerating our easy gardening style, without watering or soil amendments. Of all of the astilbe we carry, this one is found in almost all of our shade gardens due to it's dependability, and quite simply, it brightens up the shady gardens!
The foliage attractive and fern-like. The white flowers appear in summer, and last as a dried ornament through fall. Plants will need a little pampering and watering until they are established.

Germination: Obtain a planting container that has holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. Place the seeds just under the surface of your growing medium, and water well. Place your container in a warm area. Be sure to keep the soil moist during this entire germination period. Seedlings will sprout in a few weeks.
