A native eastern North American flora also known as Red Mulberry. The red fruits turn dark purple. This hardy, deciduous tree is loved by birds and thrives in regular or moist soil. Although common in the United States, it is an endangered species in Canada.

Seeds per pack: 3

Germination: Soak seeds in water for 24 hours. Then plant in a small container just below the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and water in. Place the container in a a zipper-seal bag, and place the pot in a cold location or fridge (just above freezing) for 90 days. Then bring to warmth for germination. Will take several weeks of warmth to see growth. Alternatively these seeds can be planted outdoors in fall for natural germination in spring.
