A beautiful flowering, low-maintenance ornamental plant, known as Dwarf Flowering Quince, Dwarf Quince, Japanese Flowering Quince, Maule's Quince, or simply Flowering Quince. This deciduous shrub is native to Japan and produces stunning, colorful spring flowers in shades of red, white, pink, or multi-coloured blooms! C. japonica is also popular for bonsai growing due to its hardy nature. This plant is highly adaptable to different soil types and can be grown in full or partial shade. A nice compact size to easy fit into most gardens.

After the cold stratification period they are then brought back to room temperature for them to germinate. Germination is generally within 60 days after the warming period, though they could 90-120 days.
