Description

The Malus baccata, also known as the Siberian Crab Apple, is an extremely cold-hardy apple tree with beautiful fragrant white flowers and dark red or yellow fruits that persist into winter. It is one of the most cold-resistant species of its genus.
The fruit can be eaten raw or cooked, or made into an excellent jelly. It attracts bees and other pollinators with its nectar-rich flowers.

These seeds are rare and are in limited supply.

Type: Hardy tree

Hardiness zones: 3-8

Seeds per pack: 5

Germination: Surface sow in a sterile seed-start mix. Water, and place in plastic, and in the fridge for 60 days for stratification. Then bring to warmth for them to germinate. Keep continually moist.
