Plants are covered in a rich-colored deep-red flowers all season long! Without protection these plants withstand light freezes as low as -7 C (20 F), though will die back. Or in colder zones the can be brought into a cold garage for the winter.
Type: Shrub or pot plant
Height: Generally seen at 24-30", though in tropical climates it can grow to a shrub 10' tall.
Hardiness zones: 9-11, or commonly used as a potted plant and brought indoors in winter
Location: Sun, or in hot climates provide afternoon shade
Seeds per packet: 10
Surface sow as light aids germination. Water the seeds in. Keep continuously moist. Temperature 20-22 C, 68-72 F. Seeds germinate in 20-60 days, though some could take up to 90 days.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service. It’s too early to comment on germination rates — I’ve just started the stratification process today.
