Description

This variety of Angel's Trumpet has HUGE yellow blooms, darkening to yellow-orange, so big, that they hang downwards! Flowers continue to be produced the entire growing season.

Brugmansia are frost tender. If you live in a region with freezing temperatures, bring plants indoors for the winter, and place in a sunny window. They overwinter well, and are easy to care for (we have been bring our plants in for many years, and they can easily be cut back to maintain size).

Very rare seeds.

Type: Tropical patio plant, houseplant or hardy outdoors hardy in zones 9+

Hardiness zones outdoors: 9-11, with some reports of hardy to zone 8.

Note: Ornamental use only. These seeds and/or plants are poisonous.

Seeds per pack: 5

Germination: Start these seeds right away for best germination rates. Obtain a sterile seed-start mix. Sow the seeds just under surface of the soil, and water in. Keep lightly moist and do not let the soil dry out. A heat mat is beneficial to speed germination, or a very warm room, and out of direct sunlight until germination. Seeds germinate in 30-60 days. Once growing they should be placed at 20-22 °C, 68-72 °F until large enough to be planted outdoors.
