Obtained from one of the most known professional breeders, this Iris boasts HUGE blooms, with wide and vibrantly colored flower petals! This is one of the most coveted iris! This mix will produce a wide variety of shapes and colors, and they have been obtained from about 30 different cultivars! It will be fun to see what comes from each seed!

Type: Hardy perennial

Height: 36", 3 feet

Location: Sun or part

Hardiness zones: 4-9, sometimes zone 3

Seeds per pack: 6 (previously 3)

Note: Ornamental use only. These seeds and/or plants are poisonous.

Germination: Start these seeds right away to preserve viability, no matter the time of year. Sow the seeds just under the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and water in. Leave them at room temperature for 30 days. They will not grow yet. Then a cooling period is required. Cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 60 days. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold stratification period they are then brought back to room temperature for them to germinate. Germination is in 14-60 days after the warming period.
