Description

These attractive foliage plants have silver, pewter and green foliage with red and pink veining! Flowers are creamy-white, held on tall stems. Coral Bells are easy to grow perennials, and are ideal for a sunny location. They area tolerant of sandy, dry soils.

Type: Hardy perennial

Height: 8-10" leaves, 18" flowers

Location: Sun or part sun

Hardiness zones: 4-9

Seed sizes per pack: 25 (previously 15)

Germination: Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. For best results, obtain a sterile seed-start mix, and place the seeds on the top of the pre-moistened growing medium. Do not bury the seeds, as they need light to grow. Keep moist until germination, which can take about 4 weeks. You can cover the container with clear plastic if you wish, to retain moisture until germination. Watering can be done from the top with a spray bottle, or from the bottom tray, as to not disturb the seeds. Once seeds emerge, place the pot in a sunny place, or under bright grow lights.
