Description

A rarely-offered alpine plant native to the Pyrenees, Alps and Carpathians, found in limestone screes and rocks. Densely tufted and often cushion-forming, much like a draba. The leaves form rosettes, 4-6mm long. The flowers are four-petalled, 5-8mm across, pale pink or lilac. An ideal rock garden plant!

Very limited supply.

Type: Hardy Perennial

Hardiness zones: 3-8

Location: Sun or part sun

Seeds per pack: 5

Germination: Place seeds in the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and lightly cover with vermiculite. Keep at 16-20C (60-70F). Keep moist until germination. If the seeds do not come up within 6 to 12 weeks the damp seed tray can be given cold treatment in a fridge for about four weeks. They may still take very many months to appear, so please never discard the pot or tray.
