The Cupressus cashmeriana, also known as Bhutan Cypress or Kashmir Cypress, is a medium to large coniferous tree that can grow up to 45 meters tall, with a trunk diameter of up to 3 meters. The foliage is very ornamental, pendulous (weeping) and blue-green. Young trees have soft needle-like leaves. The tree produces ovoid seed cones that are dark green and mature to a dark brown color. The natural populations of this species are fragmented and face conservation challenges. The Cupressus cashmeriana has been granted the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
Hardiness zones: 9-11, some sources say it is hardy to zone 7.

I happened across Ferri Seeds website when I Googled a particular plant I’d been looking for. I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service. It’s too early to comment on germination rates — I’ve just started the stratification process today.
