E. gunnii Produces smaller leaves which are better for fine floral work. Used as a filler in bouquets. A well branched variety with leaves up to 3/4" across. Can be started early indoors for early growth and larger seasonal plants. Transplant outdoors after the danger of frost is passed. Foliage is aromatic. Generally grown as an annual, though will overwinter in milder regions.
Can be grown in containers and placed on patios or sunk into the ground to the lip, but must be brought indoors in fall before first frost for overwintering in a cool, dark basement or frost-free garage.
