Very rare colour indeed, in search of the elusive pure white Clivia flower, our breeder has produced this stunning green-white flower with darker green throats and contrasting yellow-orange stamens. 3ft (90cm)

It is sometimes known in cultivation as "Kaffir lily" (a term considered offensive in South Africa).

It contains small amounts of lycorine, making it poisonous.

With a minimum temperature of 10 °C (50 °F), in temperate regions C. miniata is normally cultivated as a houseplant. It has gained the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. In warmer sites, it can grow outdoors and is used in landscapes for its attractive evergreen foliage and showy flowers. This clump-forming plant spreads via rhizomes and is particularly suited for shady areas.

This listing is for one seed, which looks like a tiny bulb (they are classified as seeds). Please see images. Many of these seeds are sprouting already, and are ready to go into your soil mix!!!

Note: As you know the weather has turned. For most seeds winter weather is perfectly safe, and seeds companies regularly ship through the winter (winter is the busiest season). We are hesitant to ship Clivia seeds through the winter, as they seem to act and appear more like a bulb, very fleshy and likely sensitive to the freezing weather. This is a preorder for  Clivia. Once ordered, these seeds are held for you and shipped when the weather warms, likely in spring. If you have ordered other seeds we will ship the other seeds right away, and the shipping will still be flat rate one time charge despite it arriving in 2 shipments.

Germination: These magnificent plants are easy to germinate! Place the bulbs about half way into a tropical plant mix. Keep moist, but never saturated with water. Place in a warm location out of direct sun.
