COLEUS 'CHOCOLATE MINT'

This Coleus has deep, dark chocolate-colored leaves! Coleus are excellent plants for planters, hanging baskets, and in a partly shaded garden. Leaves become larger in part shade, and the colors are most vibrant! These seeds have excellent germination rates, and produce consistently vivid-colored, compact and strong plants!

Bloom time: Blooms summer, however the leaves are the main attraction all season long!

Germination: Start these seeds early indoors. Place on the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, place at room temperature (70-75F). Keep in a bright location, as they require light to germinate. It is very important to keep the seeds moist until germination, and that they do not dry out. Watering can be done with a spray bottle, or water can wick-up from the bottom tray (best method) when needed. Seeds germinate in approximately 4 weeks, and plants grow quite quickly after that.
