Description

These stunning Foxgloves have large tall spikes with lots of dark spots! Flowers continue to develop up the stem, which provides blooms for a very long period of time. This plant is well-liked by pollinators, too. It is easy to grow. They can be started in late summer, early fall, or early in the spring during the cool weather. This plant will self seed if you decide to leave the flower to form seed pods. Plant in sun or part shade. Also good for naturalizing.

Type: Hardy perennial

Height: 48"

Hardiness zones: 3-9

Location: Sun or part shade

Note: Ornamental use only. This plant and/or seeds are poisonous.

Seeds per pack: 15

Germination: These seeds are easy to germinate! They can be planted directly outdoors. Simply rake the ground, sprinkle seeds, and water in. Do not bury the seeds, as they require light for germination. These seeds perform best if started during cool spring weather, or in late summer to early fall. To plant indoors, place the seeds on surface of your growing medium, and water. Keep moist until germination. Once seedlings emerge, place the pot in a sunny place, or under bright grow lights. New seedlings like slightly cool weather while they are very small.
