HUBBARD SQUASH GREEN Cucurbita maxima

Originating from South American locations where summers are similar to southern Ontario. The large fruits average 30 cm (12″) long by 20 cm (8″) wide. The flesh is orange-yellow and nicely sweet.

Germination: Plant directly outdoors in spring, after the danger of frost is past, just below the soil level. Keep continually moist while plants germinate.
