Description

One of the most desired Passion Flowers, the Red Banada Passion Flower produces massive, deep-red flowers which hang. Plants form a climbing or shrub. Loved by hummingbirds! These seeds are rare and very limited supply.

Location: Sun or part sun

Height: Climbing to 5 m, 16 feet

Type: Often grown as an annual or greenhouse plant. Perennial outdoors in zones 10-12. Can be grown indoors in a sunny window!

Note: This plant species is known to have toxicity. Ornamental use only.

Seeds per pack: 3

Germination: Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. For best results, obtain a sterile seed-start mix, and place the seeds just under the surface of the pre-moistened growing medium. Keep moist until germination, which can take about 4-6 weeks, with some seeds taking slightly longer. You can cover the container with clear plastic if you wish, to retain moisture until germination. Once seeds emerge, place in a sunny place outdoors if temperatures permit.
