Magnificent yellow-orange-pink blossoms, heavy flower production. Long flowering season. Reblooms in September. Excellent for containers, and tolerable to cold, wet winters. Easy to grow in the garden.
Type: Hardy perennial
Hardiness zones: 4-8
Height: 15cm
Location: Full sun
Seeds per packet: 10
Surface sow as light aids germination. Water the seeds in and leave them at room temperature (20°C/71°F) for 4 weeks. This helps break the phytohormones which inhibit germination. They will not grow yet. Then a cooling period is required. Cover them with plastic and place in a fridge for 6 weeks. Be sure they stay moist. After the cold stratification period they are then brought back to a cool room (15°C, 59F) for them to germinate. Germination is generally 30-60 days after the warming period, though some can take longer.
