MELTING FIRE CORAL BELLS Heuchera
Melting Fire Coral Bells is a redder version of Emperor's Cloak Coral Bells, with stand-out red foliage that is deeply curled and ruffled! These plants are extremely hardy perennials, tolerant of drought and poor soils.
These seeds are pelleted, which is a coating that helps with ease of germination.
Type: Hardy perennial
Height: 10" leaves, 18" flowers
Location: Sun or part sun
Hardiness zones: 4-9
Bloom time: Summer
Seed size: Coral bell seeds are small
Seeds per pack: 5
Germination: Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. For best results, obtain a sterile seed-start mix, and place the seeds on the top of the pre-moistened growing medium. Do not bury the seeds, as they need light to grow. Keep moist until germination, which can take about 4 weeks. You can cover the container with clear plastic if you wish, to retain moisture until germination. Watering can be done from the top with a spray bottle, or from the bottom tray, as to not disturb the seeds. Once seeds emerge, place the pot in a sunny place, or under bright grow lights.
