This is a miniature form of the popular houseplant, and many of the plants will have variegated foliage! It's a great mix! The flowers can be pink, violet, or white. As the plants mature they will show more and more of the variegation.

Miniature African Violets grow from 6-10 cm tall, can be anywhere from 6-15 cm wide. The leaves have a hairy texture. The flowers are 1.5-2 cm in diameter and grow in clusters of 3-10 or more on slender stalks.

Typically, the African violet is a widely cultivated household indoor plant, but can also be an outdoor plant. It is a day-neutral plant regarding flower development.

The genus is most closely related to Cape Primrose (Streptocarpus).

Seeds per packet: 10

Note: These seeds are extremely tiny! It's just how they naturally are. Reading glasses are recommended to aid with seeing them, even for those who don't normally require glasses to read. The seeds are shipped in a wax envelope. Open carefully, and sprinkle onto the growing medium. Do not bury the seeds.

Germination: Sow the seeds on the surface a seed-start mix and water in. Do not bury the seeds as they require light to germinate. Keep lightly moist and do not let the soil dry out. Keep at 20-22 C, 68-72 F. Seeds germinate in 20-60 days.
