
ORNAMENTAL ASPARAGUS FERN Plumosus nanus
Growing to the form of a small shrub, this Asparagus is a lush and popular fern with very fine foliage. Also great outdoors in the summer placed in planters. Plants are a lush bright green. Plants are not frost hardy, and are best grown as a houseplant, or outdoors in the warm season and brought indoors for the winter. Plants tolerate being cut-back as desired.

Germination: Soak seeds for 24 hours before germinating. Place seeds in the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and lightly cover with vermiculite. Keep at 20-25C (70-78F). Keep moist until germination. Seeds are large, and germinate in about 6 weeks.
