These seeds were taken from plants that have been overwintered in zone 6. They will form shrubs over time if kept outdoors. They can also be grown as an annual, and are colourful additions to planters and baskets. Plants are covered in blooms flowers all season long!

Hardiness zones: Zone 6-9, possible colder, as there have been reports of it surviving to zone 4 or 5 with heavy mulching.

Germination: Obtain a container with holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. For best results, obtain a sterile seed-start mix, and place the seeds just under the surface of a pre-moistened growing medium. Then the container at room temperature to germinate, and keep moist until germination. Once seeds emerge, place the pot in a bright location. Germination usually takes place within 6 weeks, though they can take longer. Patience is needed, though they are worth the wait!
