Very rare and hard-to-find seeds! These gorgeous banana's have bright red midribs! The more sun, the redder they get! The leaves are bright green, sometimes with a red tint in full sun. Forms a spectacular clump! It is also one of the hardiest Banana's and can live in a cool greenhouse!

Type: Tropical, patio or houseplant

Height: Up to 6 meters (20 feet) in tropical locations, or use as an ornamental patio or houseplant

Seed size: Large

Hardiness zones: 9-11 outdoors, or grow indoors.

Seeds per pack: 3

Germination: It is important to soak seeds in water water for 24-48 hours before planting. Use rain water or bottled water, as municipal water may harm the seeds. Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. Place seeds just below the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, water, and place at 25-27C (77-81F). Keep consistently moist until germination. Germination generally takes 4-8 weeks, though be patient, as germination is erratic and some seeds may take longer (some may continue to germinate for 3-12 months). You can cover the container with clear plastic if you wish, to retain moisture until germination. Once seeds emerge, place the pot in a sunny location.
