Soldanella alpina, the alpine snowbell or blue moonwort, is a member of the family Primulaceae native to the Alps and Pyrenees.

Germination: Place seeds in the surface of a sterile seed-start mix, and lightly cover with vermiculite. Keep at 16-20C (60-70F). Keep moist until germination. Seeds germinate in about 4 weeks. If germination does not occur after 3–4 weeks a cooling period of 2–4 weeks is recommended.
