SOLOMON'S SEAL Polygonatum multiflorum
Polygonatum multiflorum, the Solomon's seal, David's harp, ladder-to-heaven or Eurasian Solomon's seal, is a rhizomatous perennial growing to 90 cm (35 in) tall by 25 cm (10 in) broad, with arching stems of alternate leaves, and slightly necked, pendent tubular white flowers with green tips, hanging from the undersides of the stems. It is valued in cultivation for its ability to colonise shady areas, and is suitable for a woodland style planting.

Germination: Sow the seeds just under the surface of the soil and keep warm about +18 to +22°C (64 to 72°F) and moist for the first 3–4 weeks. After this period they will need a cold period for another 5–6 weeks. They will not yet grow during this time. Then bring them back to a warm room to allow the seeds to germinate.
