Summer Savory is a very popular seasoning, preferred over Winter Savory for its delicate flavour. Indispensable for its use in traditional Eastern Canadian dishes like potato stuffing. It is one of the ingredients used in herbes de Provence. Summer Savory can be used wherever sage is used, when a more subtle flavour is desired.
It has been used to sooth and aid in digestion.
Summer savory is annual (unlike the perennial winter variety) and hence is easier and quicker to raise from seed.

Seeds per pack: 10
Germination: Place seeds just under the surface of the soil and water in. Keep moist until germination. Plant outdoors after all chance of frost is passed.

I was impressed by their selection of all types of seeds and their good product descriptions along with detailed germination instructions. I found the site and ordered on a Saturday. On Sunday I got a notice that my order had been shipped! The seeds were in my P.O. box on Friday. Such amazing service.
