Description
This cultivar is shorter than the wild species, dwarf and compact. Earlier flowering than most columbines.
Flowers bloom in spring, providing nectar for hummingbirds, butterflies and bees. These plants are extremely tolerant of dry and sandy locations, and thrive in full sun or part shade.

Germination: Start these seeds indoors right away for best germination rates. Your planting container should have holes in the bottom for excess water to drain. Sow the seeds just under the surface a sterile seed-start mix and water in. Keep lightly moist and do not let the soil dry out. Keep at 20-22 °C, 68-72 °F. Seeds germinate in 21-60 days.
